Nature Playdough and Sensory Bin

Going along with studying day three of creation when God created flowers, trees and plants, I thought it would be fun to do a nature sensory bin and playdough tray.  Both boys loved looking in the sensory bin and discovering what was in it, but they didn't choose to play with the contents very much.  I think because the playdough tray was so fascinating they spent most of their attention on it.

This was on one of JM's Tot Trays for the week:
dried flowers

  1. What are they using to poke the flower petals into the playdo? It looks like toothpicks or something like that but toothpicks aren't on the tray..... ???.

    1. They just used their fingers. Some of those flowers had longer stems than others, and they found those flowers and stuck them in the playdough.
