DeleteThis is cool....unfortunately your "train up a child" watermark means I cannot use any of your ideas. It is too reminiscent of the despicable child abusers who refer to what they do as "training up" a child.
ReplyDeleteI can't speak for the blogger, but I feel quite sure that phrase, in this case, is taken from the Bible...Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. (Proverbs 22:6)
DeleteYes definitely, thank you @'Chelle. The original name of my blog was Train Up a Child, taken straight from the Bible. It does not suggest abuse at all. Unfortunately some people have perverted that verse and taken it way out of context and used it in their "discipline" methods. I changed the name of my blog after I heard about their book, but I don't have the hours it would take to change every single water mark on every photo on my blog. My husband and I do not support that style of parenting in any way.
