The easiest and quickest way to peel crayon wrappers.

Are you ready for it?  The secret to peeling crayons is to soak them in water first.  That's it.  Once the wrappers are nice and wet they peel off easily.  My boys help me peel our crayons after they've soaked, and this is a great activity for boosting fine motor skills.  The wet wrappers are soft, and they peel right off without any scraping or cutting or frustration.  As you can see in the pictures, some of the crayons didn't come completely clean, but for the most part this tip makes crayon peeling a cinch.

  3. My three year-old is quite skilled at taking them off, if you want to borrow her skills...lol! Anytime you hand her a crayon there is bound to be a pile of crayon paper left behind. Great tip for those who don't have a three year-old like mine! Kim from Life Over C's
